INGREDIENT INVESTIGATION
Our purpose is to be able to increase your wellbeing & overall life quality, by providing you with the safest, cleanest & most nutritious vegan foods on the planet.
We pick up where other companies fail. Everyday foods are packed with additives & harmful ingredients, Vegan foods are even more so. To make Clean Label Vegan foods, an immense amount of processes, commitment and R&D capabilities are required.
We heavily research & trial all ingredient options for functionality & flavour. However, we take it way further to extremity. We research all scientific findings, health studies and legislations to assess our ingredient choices.
We go to ultimate lengths when screening ingredients. We not only study the ingredient itself but how it was processed and treated. We search for any toxic chemical processing, chemicals present and the use of processing aids. Only once we understand the entire microbiology of the ingredient we then make a decision to ban it or use it.
We have banned hundreds of ingredients that will never make it to our ingredient panels and are constantly searching for new ways to make the cleanest & safest products.

TESTING & QUALIFICATION
We test all our ingredients for integrity and validation. Our ingredients are tested in world-class laboratories. We test for quality & purity, heavy metals, toxicology, cross-contamination, pesticides, allergens and microbiological testing.
On top of that we have our very own “Inspector Sherlock” who constantly audits our ingredient partners across the globe to ensure they meet our expectations and guidelines. We do not buy ingredients from distributors, we create lifelong partnerships with the most professional manufacturers, this way we can constantly audit them and work closely with them to guarantee you the very best ingredients on the planet!
Once our exhaustive criteria have been met, our food techs & chefs work their mastery to achieve superior nutrition, flavours & textures. We do not stop until we create ground breaking performance, purity and sublime sensory.

PRODUCTION
Our ultimate goal is to be able produce the most clean and safe food. At CLEANLABELCO we manufacture to the highest food safety standards & practices. We produce our products in pharmaceutical standard cleanrooms. We do not produce any animal products in our facilities.

PACKAGING
Our aim on packaging is to be aesthetically pleasant, practical for users & most importantly have a low carbon footprint.
We are bound to the responsibility of our planet, plant based ingredients & sustainable packaging is the only way forward.
We are constantly revolutionizing our packaging & innovative ideas.
We don’t put chemicals & additives in our foods, so why use it in the packaging! We refuse to use materials with PVC, polyethylene terephthalate & polystyrenes compositions.
CLEANLABELCO has highlighted that the are over 170 dangerous chemicals in general food & beverage packaging.
Packaging additives are not governed to the extent of food additives. Therefore, its up to every company to take on the responsibility for the health of the consumers & the planet.

A CLEAN LABEL PRODUCT
We have a clean label protocol & mission which in the end produces a transparent clean label product.
We do not want to hide ingredients, for example just using the word “natural flavour” in a product sounds great,
However, 99% of the time it is used to hide ingredients from food additives to sugars etc.
Unlike Europe, the name of e-number ingredients in Australia can be written directly on the product and the e-number can be omitted, for example “xanthan gum” is often written as xanthan gum. However, in Europe this is a true chemically produced food additive and it carries an e-number which is e415. We do not use ingredients that carry e-numbers in any part of the world. We believe that you deserve the right to know what’s in your food and the right to purity & clean foods.
