THE STORY OF JASON MCGRATH
A long winding road and fateful path led me here.
The illness & death of a mother, made me from a young age to view food as medicine.
The curiosity and flare for tastes, colours and textures threw me into the culinary world of fine dining.
The love of life, nature and nutritious plants lured me into the organics industry, whilst my thirst for knowledge and the truth catapulted me into food science and the mainstream food manufacturing industry.
This diverse exposure moulded and forged my ability, compassion and belief in plant health, unadulterated ingredients and the mastery of flavours.

WHO WE ARE
CleanLabelCo is a plant food brand, founded in an idyllic little village in the Yarra Valley, Australia.
Jason McGrath, a passionate food & nutrition guru with background in award-winning fine-dining, food science, organics and human nutrition, has worked around the globe and spiralled him into the realization that there is a huge gap in the health food arena.
There are many products that claim to be healthy but are loaded with sugars or bulked out with so called “healthy sweeteners” or formulated using gums/synthetic ingredients. For us, this is just is unacceptable.
Out of frustration and passion for genuine food nutrition, Jason partnered with Sandy Zu, a business executive of multinational companies, and the brand was born!
CleanLabelCo has brought two decades of knowledge, experience & partnerships with sustainable farmers to create most exceptional quality, nutritive & flavoured vegan products. We source the highest quality organic ingredients from our partners around the globe, from Peru to Japan and beyond.
We go for vegan food because we care about people’s health, animals and the planet we share. We use innovation to derive superior nutrition in a responsible and sustainable manner, with highest possible care for every individual’s health.
